How we regenerate lost materials into stylish caps
From waste to rebirth
At Vanity Skulls, we believe that fashion should not leave a footprint, except for the one marked by those who wear it. Our caps are born from high-quality recycled materials, sourced using RCO100™ technology.
Each cap is a second chance for cotton: waste that was destined to be discarded, transformed into a new, resistant fabric with an urban soul.
What is RCO100™
- Recycled Cotton 100%: 100% recycled cotton.
- Mechanical and "dry" process: no water or chemicals used in the recycling.
- Textile quality: yarns and fabrics with performance comparable to virgin cotton.
- Traceability and certifications: responsible and verifiable chain.
The process, step by step
A) Collection and sorting
We collect textile waste from factories (pre-consumer) and used garments (post-consumer). They are sorted by color, fiber type, and purity to avoid unnecessary dyeing and reduce impact.
Where others see scraps, we see the beginning of a new story.
B) Shredding and cleaning
The materials are mechanically shredded, without water or chemicals. The fibers are opened, cleaned, and prepared to come back to life.
Every strand is rescued, purified, and reintegrated into the cycle.
C) Spinning
The recycled fibers are turned into yarn. Thanks to their purity and length, they achieve quality comparable to virgin cotton. This yarn is the base for the fabrics we use for our caps.
From yarn to fabric, from waste to design.
D) Weaving and finishing
The RCO100™ yarn is woven into twill or canvas fabrics, resistant and soft. They are then stabilized, washed, and prepared for production.
Strong, flexible materials with a sustainable character.
E) Cutting and tailoring
- Design of the exact pattern.
- Cutting and sewing of pieces.
- Attachment of visor, linings, and adjustable closures.
- Quality control and packaging.
Each Vanity Skulls cap unites design, durability, and respect for the planet.
The result: style with a conscience
- 100% recycled cotton.
- Minimal carbon footprint.
- Traceable and responsible production.
